Student fares from €89: payment, cancellation, eligibility

Every fare is quoted as an itemised receipt: transport, dormitory bed, hostel booking fee, city tax and excluded meals, ending in a monospace total. You pay a 20% deposit to hold the seat and the balance 21 days before departure. Cancellation follows a four-step ladder, and student ID is checked before ticketing.

Payment and eligibility

How are student fares paid?

Fares run from €89 to €640 for trips of 2 to 9 nights across 14 European countries. Every booking is split into two instalments: a deposit that holds your seat, and a balance due before departure. Each fare line carries a verified date and is re-checked at least every 30 days.

  1. 01

    Deposit holds the seat

Pay €40 per traveller at booking. This covers the hostel booking fee and locks the fare. You receive the booking reference and an itemised receipt within one working day.

  2. 02

Balance is due 21 days out

The remaining balance falls due 21 days before departure, by card or bank transfer. Until then the fare stays at the verified figure printed on your receipt.

  3. 03

    Prove student status

Upload an ISIC card or a current university enrolment letter when you book. We check the document within one working day and confirm the student fare only after that step.

  4. 04

    The fare date is re-checked

Every receipt shows the date the fare was last verified. If a route sits unchecked for more than 30 days, we re-price it and send the difference in writing before your balance is due.

Late changes follow the cancellation ladder, and every fare line matches the fare inclusions listed on the route pages.

Cancellation ladder

How much comes back if a student cancels?

The ladder runs from 30 or more days before departure down to the travel day itself. Percentages apply to the recoverable part of the fare, split into transport and the bed with booking fee. City tax and paid extras sit outside the ladder. The worked example is a 7-night trip across Poland and Czechia on a €420 fare.
